%X Qui ne connait pas Jean Fourasti¨¦, auteur de la formule des ¡°Trente Glorieuses¡± et de plusieurs essais ¨¦conomiques grand public qui, en d¨¦crivant les m¨¦canismes ¨¦conomiques de long terme, ont d¨¦voil¨¦ aux Fran ais le sens et la port¨¦e des transformations que leur pays connait apr¨¨s la guerre ? Pourtant, les amalgames les oublis et les simplifications montrent qu'il est un ¡°inconnu c¨¦l¨¨bre¡±. Dans ce contexte, et ¨¤ la lumi¨¨re de recherches r¨¦centes, son r le dans l'harmonisation des pratiques comptables dans le domaine des assurances, son champ d'expertise originel, comme sa participation aux diff¨¦rents comit¨¦s ¨¤ l'origine de la comptabilit¨¦ nationale pendant la Deuxi¨¨me Guerre mondiale doivent ¨ºtre r¨¦¨¦valu¨¦s. Who doesn¡¯t know Jean Fourasti¨¦, author of the famous "Trente Glorieuses¡± and of several brilliant essays which, giving to understand long term economic mechanisms, revealed to the French meaning and scope of the transformations their country experienced after the war ? But amalgams, omissions and simplifications show that he's, somehow, famous but unknown. In that context, his role in the harmonization of accounting practices in the insurances business in the thirties as well as his participation to different committees dealing with national accounting during World War II need to be re-evaluated.
