%X La forma cl芍sica de evaluaci車n de la correcci車n de la tetralog赤a de Fallot (TDF) consiste en el c芍lculo de la relaci車n entre las presiones sist車lica ventricular derecha y sist谷mica. Sin embargo, el advenimiento del ecocardiograma transesof芍gico ha desarrollado nuevos enfoques al respecto. Presentaremos el caso de un paciente de 15 a os con TDF el cual fue llevado a correcci車n, y cuyo manejo se bas車 en el ecocardiograma intraoperatorio. Tambi谷n discutiremos el papel de los par芍metros ecocardiogr芍ficos en la evaluaci車n de la correcci車n de la TDF. The classical approach to evaluate the correction of the tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) consists in calculating the ratio between the right systolic and systemic pressure; however, with the advent of transesophageal echocardiography, new approaches have been developed. We shall present a case of a 15 year-old patient with TOF who underwent correction and the management was based on the intraoperative echocardiography. We will also address the role of the echocardiographic parameters in the evaluation of the correction of the TOF.
