%T Los viajeros italianos en la Argentina

%X This paper proposes an analysis of a corpus of texts from Italian travelers in Argentina during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Compared with other European travelers texts (French, English), which shows an already developed sentiment of national community, the case of Italians is paradoxical: they belong to one of the youngest nations which, at the same time, is considered the richest in history and traditions among all other Europeans countries. El presente ensayo propone un an芍lisis de un corpus de textos de viajeros italianos en la Argentina de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. En comparaci車n con otros viajeros europeos (franceses, ingleses) en cuya visi車n se percibe la presencia un 'nosotros' nacional ya desarrollado, en el caso de los italianos se evidencia una situaci車n parad車jica: pertenecen a una de las naciones m芍s j車venes que al mismo tiempo se considera como la m芍s rica de historia entre todas las naciones europeas.
