%0 Journal Article %T Journal Impact Factor and Academic Ethics %A Rimas Norvai£ża %J Evolution of Science and Technology %D 2011 %I Vilnius Gediminas Technical University %X This article provides an overview of cases wherein the journal Impact Factor was manipulated; and attempts explaining the possible causes thereof. The discussion is focused on the Lithuanian scientific community with some parallels drawn to a similar situation in China.
