%0 Journal Article %T Supporting Students' Interest in Mathematics through Applications from Digital Image Processing %A Jason Silverman %A Gail Rosen %J Journal of the Research Center for Educational Technology %D 2010 %I Kent State University %X We report on our efforts to support such changes in students¡¯ interest and personal connection with mathematics through exploring applications in digital signal processing (DSP), an engineering field devoted to study of ¡°signals¡± (primarily digital representations of speech, images, and video).
