%0 Journal Article %T Thermodynamic and structural studies of complexes of manganese(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) with aminofuropyridine carboxamide %A M. G. ABD EL WAHED %J Journal of the Serbian Chemical Society %D 2003 %I Serbian Chemical Society %X Complexes of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with 2-aminofuro[3,2-b]pyridine-3-carboxamide have been prepared. The stability constants of the formed complexes were determined at 20, 30, 40 and 50oC at a fixed ionic strength, I = 0.1 mol dm-3 (KCl). The values of the thermodynamic functions associated with complex formation were calculated and analyzed in terms of electrostatic and non-electrostatic components.
