Users can perform remote experiments on these distributed facilities using the KOCEDgrid, which is an Internet-based grid computing system. We present technologies to support enhanced hybrid simulation on the KOCEDgrid. A new realtime controller and viewer provide a user-friendly interface to an enhanced environment for hybrid simulation, which has been built on a new version of the grid middleware and on a new hybrid modeling tool. Users can now conduct experiments more flexibly and combine more than one piece of experimental equipment. The elimination of unnecessary communication overheads has reduced simulation times. %K Grid application %K grid system %K KOCEDgrid %K collaboration %K hybrid experiment %U http://ojs.academypublisher.com/index.php/jsw/article/view/2373
