In brine shrimp bioassay, the crude methanolic extract of leaf showed strong cytotoxic activity with LC50 value of 14.195¦Ìg/ml compared to that of 0.305¦Ìg/ml exhibited by standard vincristine sulphate. During assay for thrombolytic activity, the methanolic extract of P. scandens revealed 19.451¡À1.711% lysis of clot while standard streptokinase (SK) and water, used as positive and negative controls, demonstrated 69.480¡À 2.651% and 3.0695¡À 0.497% lysis of clot, respectively. %K Pothos scandens %K Brine Shrimp Lethality %K Thrombolytic %K % lysis of clot %K Vincristine %K Streptokinase. %U http://www.phytojournal.com/vol2Issue1/Issue_may_2013/51.pdf
