%X Este artigo analisa as representa  es da ¡°Revolu  o Americana¡± no ide¨¢rio pol¨ªtico do intelectual chileno Francisco Bilbao. Em nossa an¨¢lise, tomamos como fonte duas obras do autor: La Sociabilidad Chilena (1844) e El Evangelio Americano (1864). Ao longo do texto, procuramos identificar perman¨ºncias e diferen as acerca das representa  es de Revolu  o Americana em ambas as publica  es, relacionando-as com os distintos contextos em que foram produzidas. This article analyzes representations of the ¡°American Revolution¡± in the political ideas of the Chilean intellectual Francisco Bilbao. In our analysis, we have utilized as sources two author¡¯s works: La Sociabilidad Chilena (1844) and El Evangelio Americano (1864). Throughout the text, we have tried to identify continuities and differences about the representations of the American Revolution in both publications, relating them to the different contexts in which they were produced.
