%X Upon his retirement from the Board, we want to thank Dr. Dudley S. Childress for his service to JRRD and the broader research community. A professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation and biomedical engineering, Dr. Childress served on JRRD's Editorial and Scientific Advisory Boards for 32 years. In this capacity, he contributed significantly to the journal's quality, scientific rigor, and prominence.We have enjoyed working with Dr. Childress and learning from his vast knowledge and experiences. His dedication and hard work have been motivating to us all. He will be sincerely missed. We wish him happiness in the future and a wonderful time with family and friends.
