%X Este art赤culo tiene como objetivo contribuir a la democratizaci車n de la escuela a trav谷s de la ampliaci車n del concepto de diversidad y sus posibilidades de aplicaci車n en la relaci車n pedag車gica. Se presenta un panorama general de la configuraci車n hist車rica de la escuela chilena, para luego examinar sus implicancias en las concepciones sobre diversidad e identidad que act迆an como factores determinantes de la experiencia educativa. En este mismo sentido, se revisan y contrastan experiencias de investigaciones previas y planteamientos de autores como Bourdieu y Maturana respecto al surgimiento de construcciones de mundo leg赤timamente diversas y los modos en que 谷stas se insertan en la sociedad y en la escuela, para, finalmente, proponer un abordaje de la problem芍tica educativa centrado en la aceptaci車n de la diversidad como eje estructurador de la relaci車n pedag車gica y de las distintas situaciones de aprendizaje. The objetive of this papaer is contribute to the democratisation of the school through the enlargement of the concept of diversity and its possibilities of application in the pedagogical relation. It presents a general overview of the historical chilean model of the school in order to examine its implications in concepts like diversity and identity that acting as determinant factors of the educational experience. This work includes reviews of previous experiencies of investigation and tehories of authors like P. Bourdieu and H. Maturana about different and legitamate, contstructions of the world and the way that they are integrated in the society and in the schcool. Finaly proposes an approach of the educational problem through the acceptation of the diversity as basis of the pedagogical relation and of the different learning situations
