%X This article focuses on memories of ruralemigrants from western Parana who returned fromSwitzerland, where they worked in agriculture, mediatedby a Swiss state organization. We'll try to perceive in firstplace how the migration influences the affirmation ofethnic and national identities; secondly in whichsituations these migrants express these identities andwhat elements they use for; thirdly which relations areestablished between individual, familiarly and localidentities.
