%X This paper tries to explain the theory referring to the body as it is seen by I.P. Culianu. Thus, starting from the idea that the soul is full of body ¨C which is motivated by the theories in the fashion domain-through which the body is the one assuming the defining symbolic charge for the spirit which inhabits it. Reversing the order of things, from the vaste work of I.P. Culianu, especially in the last part, it may be pointed out the perspective according to which the body if it is not full of the soul, then it may at least be defined as a prolongation of the mind, that is of the real engine of history and culture.
