However, most of the time it is not enough to have a desire for taking an active role, and the roles are given out by means of a process of selection. As the nearly unchanging basic player of traditional Turkish Children¡¯s games ¡°it¡± is the player who has sometimes an active role and sometimes passive, it is the role sometimes wanted to be taken; but sometimes it turns out to be the unwanted one.
