Tu£¿£¿e KARACA %J Journal of Kirsehir Education Faculty %D 2012 %I Ahi Evran University %X TIMSS is an international survey that held every 4 years and evaluates countries¡¯ science and mathematics achievement in terms of several variables. Turkey had participated in this research at 8. Grade class level in the years 1999 and 2007 and shall also participate at 4. Grade class level for the first time in TIMSS 2011. In this study, 4. Grade mathematics student workbook was examined based on the questions in the mental and learning areas. In the study qualitative research method was used and analyzing a written document technique was used.
