%X We generalize previous uniqueness results on a semilinear elliptic equation with zero Dirichlet boundary condition and superlinear, subcritical nonlinearity. Our proof is based on a bifurcation approach and a Pohozaev type integral identity, which greatly simplifies the previous arguments.
