The system of social gender determines what the position of a male or female in a private and social life is, to what extent he/she participates in social life and how a person is represented in social life determined by the societies' perception of gender. In this study, the question of how the gender system is seen in daily life in Southeastern Anatolia where the gender roles are constructed by a patriarchal worldview. The role of authority and the position of man and woman in the power relation is also examined. Shortly, in this region, there seems to be a gender perception and various other mechanisms constructed in accordance with the culture of the region. In the region, there is a patriarchal system in which women behaves in accordance with the tribal and social structure.
