Compression helps in the reduction of resources usage like storage of data. Because the data compressed must be decompresses to use, this additional processing brings down other computational costs through decompression. Here, we deal with Compression and decompression of polygon meshes. The Objective is to compress the polygon models using triangular faces and at the same time without any deviation in the level of detail compared to the original polygons to provide a more detailed output of mesh. We undergo the process of curvature and connectivity predictions once the compression algorithm is developed that can be capable of compressing meshes with arbitrary face degrees. After this, the vertex splitting is to be done that helps in the reduction of the size of geometry and connectivity of triangular faces of polygon meshes. %U http://www.jgrcs.info/index.php/jgrcs/article/view/618
