%X The friendly ties linking Christfried Jakob (1866-1956) and his illustrious teacher and good friend, Adolf von Str邦mpell (1853-1925), never resented the separation imposed by distance and time elapsing.  Who was von Str邦mpell? La赤n Entralgo placed the Leipzig master (together with Naunyn, Nothnagel and von Str邦mpell's immediate predecessor in Leipzig, Curschmann) into the third generation of the "Heroic Age of German medicine", utilizing this expression by Magnus Levy in order to designate the years among 1848 and 1914. Von Str邦mpell was among the German intellectual blacksmiths beating into shape such a neurology usually termed "classic" 每 anatomoclinical and localizationist 每 whose values' scale still shapes the Argentinian tradition. Besides these axiological appreciations and attitudes, von Str邦mpell as well received from his own family and intellectual atmosphere in Dorpat (Tartu), Estonia, and developed later in Erlangen, Breslau and Leipzig, a rich heritage of deep insights and conflictive perspectives which he bequeathed to his friend and disciple Jakob and hence played fecund roles in the Argentinian-German neurobiological tradition. --CASTELLANO: Los v赤nculos de amistad que un赤an a Christofredo Jakob (1866-1956) con su ilustre maestro y buen amigo Adolf von Str邦mpell (1853-1925) nunca se resintieron por la separaci車n que les impusiera la distancia y el tiempo.  Qui谷n fue von Str邦mpell? La赤n Entralgo ubica al maestro lipsiense (junto con Naunyn, Nothnagel y el inmediato predecesor all赤 de von Str邦mpell, Curschmann) en la tercera generaci車n de la "edad heroica de la medicina alemana", utilizando tal expresi車n de Magnus Levy para se alar los a os comprendidos entre 1848 y 1914. Von Str邦mpell fue uno de los art赤fices ideol車gicos alemanes de esa neurolog赤a que solemos llamar "cl芍sica" 每anatomocl赤nica y localizatoria每 cuyos valores a迆n informan la tradici車n argentina. Junto a estas apreciaciones axiol車gicas y actitudes, von Str邦mpell tambi谷n recibi車 de su propia familia y de la atm車sfera intelectual en Dorpat (Tartu, Estonia), y desarroll車 luego en Erlangen, Breslau y Leipzig, una rica herencia de profundas comprensiones y perspectivas conflictivas que transmiti車 a su amigo y disc赤pulo Jakob y, por medio de 谷ste, jugaron fecundos roles en el itinerario conceptual de la tradici車n neurobiol車gica argentino-germana.
