%X Considering suitable transformations of survey and size variables, an attempt has been made to improve upon the Horvitz-Thompson estimator through Midzuno-Sen scheme of sampling. Analytical as well as numerical studies have been undertaken in order to examine the properties of the suggested sampling methodology.
