%0 Journal Article %T Disillusionment in Kingsley Amis¡¯s works %A Odeta Manuela Belei %J Journal of Humanistic and Social Studies %D 2011 %I Editura Universit??ii Aurel Vlaicu Arad %X During his thirty-five-years career, Kingsley Amis amassed a wide-ranging body of work that rightly earned him a place among the most entertaining of contemporary writers. In four decades Amis authored twenty two novels, six volumes of poetry, two collections of short stories, thirteen volumes of non-fiction, one biography, and hundreds of essays and reviews. Not all of Amis¡¯s works have met with critics¡¯ praise, nor do they deserve it.
