Structural equation modeling analyses reveal that the combination of self-esteem and delinquency completely mediates the influence of family social capital on educational achievement. The findings of the models make a compelling case that the impact of family processes on educational achievement is indirect rather than direct. %K Social capital %K Delinquency %K Self-esteem %U http://www.educatejournal.org/index.php?journal=educate&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=153
