%0 Journal Article %T Caracterizaci¨®n y resultados acad¨¦micos de estudiantes de Medicina del Proyecto Policl¨ªnico Universitario Characterization and academic results of medical students in the university policlinics Project %A Ibis Mar¨ªa Mesa Mart¨ªn %A Mar¨ªa Magdalena Bravo Licourt %A Hortensia Linares Vald¨¦s %A Jacqueline Junco Ar¨¦valo %J Educaci£¿3n M£¿£¿dica Superior %D 2011 %I Editorial Ciencias M¨¦dicas %X El art¨ªculo refleja las principales caracter¨ªsticas y resultados docentes alcanzados por los estudiantes de la carrera de Medicina matriculados en el curso acad¨¦mico 2004-2005 en el Proyecto Policl¨ªnico Universitario perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias M¨¦dicas "Finlay Albarr¨¢n", que se encuentran ubicados en los Policl¨ªnicos Universitarios de los municipios Lisa y Marianao que comenzaron con ese modelo pedag¨®gico. Se realiz¨® una caracterizaci¨®n a este grupo de estudiantes, analizando los resultados acad¨¦micos de los 5 primeros a os de estudios. Se emplearon m¨¦todos investigativos de an¨¢lisis documental e hist¨®rico l¨®gico, que permitieron el estudio del problema con un corte transversal. Los resultados m¨¢s relevantes fueron: de la matr¨ªcula inicial al cierre del 5to a o se mantienen finalizando la carrera el 67,4 %, los resultados docentes son satisfactorios con calificaciones del ¨ªndice general sobresaliente. Concluimos que se evidencia correspondencia entre la caracterizaci¨®n de los estudiantes de ¨¦xito, elevados niveles de motivaci¨®n y de resultados docentes. The article reflected the main characteristics and educational results achieved by the medical students registered in the 2004-2005 academic year in the university policlinic project ascribed to "Finlay Albarr¨¢n"School of Medical Sciences. These students were located in the university policlinics of Lisa and Marianao municipalities respectively, both of which began implementing this pedagogic model. This group of students was characterized on the basis of the analysis of their academic results in the first five years of study. Logical documentary and historical analysis research methods were used for the cross-sectional study of the problem. The most relevant results were as follows: at the end of the 5th year, 67.4% of the initial roll is finishing the studies; the teaching results are satisfactory with outstanding general academic index.
