%X Las l¨ªneas de investigaci¨®n de la maestr¨ªa de Econom¨ªa de la Salud est¨¢n dise adas en concordancia con las prioridades de investigaci¨®n del mismo campo del saber, por ello pueden ser tomadas como referencia de la producci¨®n cient¨ªfica sobre el tema en el pa¨ªs. Los asuntos m¨¢s abordados son el Reordenamiento Asistencial del Sistema Nacional de Salud, Evaluaci¨®n Econ¨®mica de Tecnolog¨ªas Sanitarias y la Farmacoeconom¨ªa. La mayor¨ªa de las tesis se realizan en instituciones del primer nivel de atenci¨®n. Son frecuentes las investigaciones de alcance nacional. La mayor¨ªa fueron tuteladas por equipos multidisciplinarios donde trabajaron de manera conjunta profesionales de las ciencias econ¨®micas y de las ciencias m¨¦dicas o de la salud. M¨¢s del 80 % de los tutores son Doctores en Ciencias de determinada especialidad. Con el objetivo de describir la producci¨®n cient¨ªfica de la maestr¨ªa de econom¨ªa de la salud a partir de las tesis producidas en la Escuela Nacional de Salud P¨²blica entre los a os 2003 y 2010 se realiz¨® el presente trabajo, en el cual se evidencia la importancia de la tesis de maestr¨ªa como trabajo de investigaci¨®n y su an¨¢lisis como medio para acercarse a la evoluci¨®n de la investigaci¨®n cient¨ªfica en este campo. The research lines of the master¡äs degree studies in health economics are designed pursuant to the research priorities of this field of knowledge, hence they can be taken as reference of the scientific production on this subject nationwide. The most addressed topics are the restructuring of the medical assistance in the national health care system, the economic evaluation of health technologies and the pharmacoeconomics. Most of the theses are drafted in primary health care institutions. The research work nationwide are frequent, being the majority of them tutored by multidisciplinary teams in which professionals from the medical, health and economic sciences jointly work. Over 80% of these tutors are PhD in specific specialties. The objective of the present paper was to describe the scientific production of the Master's degree studies in health economics based on the theses submitted at the National School of Public health from 2003 to 2010. It underlined the significance of the master¡äs degree theses as research works and their analysis as a means of approaching to the evolution of scientific research in this sphere.
