%X La Anatom赤a es la ciencia que estudia las estructuras de los cuerpos organizados. La concepci車n antigua de esta ciencia ten赤a una posici車n metaf赤sica y la concepci車n moderna tiene un enfoque dial谷ctico. La evoluci車n hist車rica de la Anatom赤a y su ense anza en Cuba ha estado en correspondencia con los cambios pol赤ticos, econ車micos y sociales que han ocurrido en la sociedad, y al desarrollo cient赤fico-t谷cnico alcanzado por la humanidad. El objetivo de este trabajo fue destacar los acontecimientos m芍s significativos de la ense anza de la Anatom赤a en Cuba y c車mo ha influenciado en su desarrollo los cambios ocurridos en la sociedad. Se precisaron los hechos m芍s relevantes de la evoluci車n hist車rica de la Anatom赤a en sus distintas etapas: preformaci車n, formaci車n, reforma, diferenciaci車n e integraci車n, as赤 como los relacionados con su ense anza en Cuba en la etapa colonial, neocolonial y revolucionaria; en cuanto a las caracter赤sticas de su ense anza, los planes y programas de estudio, locales donde se imparti車, medios de ense anza, libros de textos empleados y profesores m芍s destacados en esta labor. Anatomy is the science or branch of morphology which treats of structure of organized bodies. Ancient conception of this science had a metaphysical position, and the present one has a dialectic approach. Historical evolution of Anatomy and its teaching in Cuba has been in correspondence with political, economical, and social changes occurred in society, and the scientific-technical development achieved by humanity. Aim of present paper was to emphasize the more significant events of Anatomy teaching in our country, and how changes above have has influenced in its development. More relevant facts of historical evolution of Anatomy in its different stages were specified: preformation, formation, reform, differentiation and integration, as well as those related to its teaching in Cuba in colonial, neocolonial, and revolutionary period, as for teaching features, study plans and programs, location where it was gave, teaching media, textbooks used and more prominent professors in this task.
