%X This paper presents the influence of synthesis parameters (concentration of acid solution and the solid: liquid ratio) on textural characteristics of bentonite activated clays: nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms, surface and pore size distribution. Acid activated clays present higher specific surface area than the natural bentonite used as feed stock and a better adsorption capacity.
