It is a rare condition; accounting for less than 1% of primary liver cancers. Case Presentation: This is a seventeen-year old male patient with history of right upper quadrant abdomi-nal pain, with no hepatomegaly. Liver function tests and serological markers for viral B, C hepatitis and tumor markers were normal. CT scan demonstrated a massive hyper- vascular lesion in the liver and the histological examination was reported as a typical fibrolamellar hepatocarcinoma. Intra-arterial chemo-therapy has been done for the patient about 6 months ago. Now he had none of the previous problems and his weight loss is reversed. Fibrolamellar hepatocellu-lar carcinoma should be kept in mind in young pa-tients with hypervascular liver masses and no history of hepatic diseases. %U http://journals.tums.ac.ir/PdfMed.aspx?pdf_med=/upload_files/pdf/2177.pdf&manuscript_id=2177
