%X The lily mealybug, Vryburgia amarillidis (Bouch¨¦) (Homoptera, Pseudococcidae) was detected on containerized Agapanthus sp. plants in Sicily, Italy. The morphological characteristics of the Sicilian populations of this pest are described.
