Hypersplenism occurs as a cause of severehemolytic anemia in carcinomas or with marked splenicenlargement related to splenic metastasis. We presenteda rare case of breast cancer with splenic metastasis thatwas undergone splenectomy to correct cytopenia relatedto hypersplenism.
