When using software developed by others or when are new to a project, programmers know little about how domain information is reflected in the source code. In the paper, the way to establish a commonly used domain vocabulary automatically is presented. Two domains have been selected: application servers and web frameworks. In the paper we are also interested in complexity of selected software products followed by their complexity of comprehension. From the point of view of a new software product developers could arise question: ¡°What kind of word class is usually used for particular type of identifiers?¡± This paper presents measurement on selected software products JBoss, JOnAS, GlassFish, Tapestry, Google Web Toolkit and Echo2. %K program comprehension %K domain knowledge %K program quality %K software measurement %U http://electroinf.uoradea.ro/reviste%20CSCS/documente/JCSCS_2009/Articole_pdf_JCSCS_C_nr_2/JCSCS_2009_Nr_2_CS_Vaclavik_Application.pdf
