%X There are presented main theoretical and procedural aspects related to design and implementation of interpolative controllers as well as the tuning procedure based on genetic algorithms. As a study case an interpolative control structure for the speed of a d.c. motor drive is developed. Comparisons with initial adaptive system without GA improvements are made through simulations.
