%X Effective software evolution needs to be supported by appropriate execution environment. Program can be viewed as a sequence of statements that are aimed to produce some result. The execution isdone by a platform that interprets the program¡¯s sequence of statements. The new result of a computation can be achieved by transformation of program, interpreter or both. Software evolution aslong-term process can be supported by adaptive language and by environment, which offers reflective possibilities. In this paper we present our adaptive approach for language modification, which isbased on the idea, that programming language is not an immutable artefact.
