In this work, starting from a discussion about different possibilities to understand the relationships between theory and experiment, we propose, based on Thomas Kuhn's ideas, complemented by the thought of van Fraassen, a new orientation for the Physics laboratory, conceiving it, not as a verification or falsification of hypotheses, but as an adaptation process between theory and experiment. %K philosophy of science %K theory-experiment relationship %K didactical physics laboratory %U http://www.if.ufrgs.br/ienci/artigos/Artigo_ID70/v6_n1_a2001.pdf
