Though it is by no means universal, many accept the claim that wellbeing is composed, at least in part, of the fulfillment of a person's long-term projects or goals. However, if we accept such a view, a number of puzzling questions arise. My main task in this paper is to answer two such questions. First: how much are such projects worth against more minor, short-term goods? Second: how much are such projects worth against themselves¡ªin particular, how much do long-term projects matter for the worse-off in comparison to such projects for those who are better-off? %K goals %K projects %K axiology %K lexical priority %K wellbeing %K well-being %U http://www.internationaljournalofwellbeing.org/index.php/ijow/article/view/17
