%X The notion of ¡°inner boundary¡± is the key point in understanding the internal dynamics of independence and autonomy movements that have made   their appearance in Corsica and Sicily during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The comparative-historical dimension allows to dispel the stereotype of the insular particularism and the cultural specificity.
