Greenaudit is a step to safeguard the interest ofentire human race and to ensure thatbusiness follows appropriate standards ofproduction. This paper is an attempt toknow the meaning and process of greenaudit, essential pre-requisite forconducting green audit, necessarycompliances with standards forenvironmental clearance of the project,offences and penalties for noncompliances,emerging professionalopportunities in green sector, and report ongreen audit.
