It focuses on the critical roleby which stakeholders and business core values affect decision making which inturn influence the product success. This paper illustrates the Criteria-Based approachfor software product management through a computer based softwareframework. The framework can select the best candidate requirements for eachrelease based on the stakeholders¡¯ input values for multiple criteria associatedwith each requirement. These criteria reflect the priority of each requirement notonly in terms of perceived importance to the stakeholder and anticipated implementationcost criteria [18] but also through technical risk, relative impact andmarket-related aspects criteria. The framework has the capability to balance betweenthe different stakeholders¡¯ preferences based on the stakeholder¡¯s weightprovided by the product manager [35]. By this means the introduced frameworkwill enable the product manager to overcome many challenges throughout theproduct life cycle by providing him with the different features that make the decisionmaking process much easier and finally yields to product success [16]. %K Release planning %K Value-Based software engineering %K Value-Oriented prioritization %K Hierarchical Cumulative Voting prioritization %K Requirements management tool %U http://www.ijse.org.eg/Content/Vol3/No1/Vol3_No1_3.pdf
