The development of a conceptual model involves a number of assumptionsregarding system behaviour. The assessment must take these assumptions and uncertainties intoaccount and understand how they could influence the predicted results. This paper outlines the fate andtransport processes, numerical models, and the model parameters required for simulation ofcontaminant transport. It will provide guidance on good practice in the development of conceptualmodels and application of mathematical models to contaminant transport problems. %K Contaminant transport %K Conceptual model %K Parameters %K Numerical model %U http://www.ijsrr.org/pdf/145.pdf
