Topological survey however provides merely a bold frame of the visual phenomena. We tend to grasp essential samenesses restricted by the rubber sheet¡± analogy. We must exceed the topological release of metric nature of correspondences, towards correspondences where not merely widths and lengths are irrelevant. We name topological and beyond-topological approaches collectively tendology, derived from the Latin term tendo¡± meaning stretch, extension, strain. Tendology ¨C as a joint variety of topology, tensiology and variology ¨C throw new light, certain wholeness, upon the essential sameness behind transformations. Should it have any significance that we do not grasp phenomena of wholeness in their mosaics, as groups of separated, relatively variable parts, it should deserve more considering and our sensibility of this kind should be strengthened or revived. %U http://www.mfk.unideb.hu/userdir/dmk/docs/20071/07_1_02.pdf
