Cihan Yavuz %J Journal of Applied Sciences %D 2005 %I Asian Network for Scientific Information %X This study investigates the relationship between consumers¡¯ willingness to pay (WTP) for organically farmed seabass and socio-demographic variables. Although the majority of (73.1%) surveyed consumers reported that they had no knowledge of organic seabass, their attitudes toward this product were generally positive. Almost 64% of the respondents would pay a premium between 11 and 30%. Only 10% of the respondents were not willing to pay a premium for organically farmed seabass.
