%X This article shows a brief overview concerning to the situation of environmental bioethics, by means of the study of the correlation between three concepts: nature, ethno-knowledge and culture. To that purpose, it acknowledges notions such as instrumental and intrinsic value and recognizes that entities and no-human systems have a value that doesn¡ät come from use but from the ethical value given by humans. It also outlines an analysis of some of the extreme solutions (free-market economy, the principle "the polluter pays", environmental economics, precautionary principle and radical biocentrism) that have been raised from environmental policies to the concern of the no-human world. Finally, it reiterates the importance of a plural thought both biological and cultural, which allows man to be conceived as an active part of the complex interaction system that biosphere is, through profound changes in life styles, criteria and current practices. El art¨ªculo presenta un breve panorama referente a la situaci¨®n de la bio¨¦tica, a trav¨¦s del estudio de la correlaci¨®n de tres conceptos: naturaleza, etnoconocimiento y cultura. Para ello, se consideran las nociones sobre valor instrumental e intr¨ªnseco y se reconoce que las entidadesy los sistemas no-humanos tienen valor, el cual no procede del uso, sino del valor ¨¦tico dado por los humanos. Asimismo, se esboza unan¨¢lisis sobre algunas de las soluciones extremas (econom¨ªa de libremercado, principio de ¡°el contaminador paga¡±, econom¨ªa ambiental, principio preventivo y biocentrismo radical) que desde las pol¨ªticas ambientales se han planteado para el cuidado del mundo no-humano. Finalmente, se reitera la importancia de un pensamiento plural tanto anivel biol¨®gico como cultural, que permita a trav¨¦s de cambios profundos en los estilos de vida, criterios y pr¨¢cticas actuales, y que el ser humano se conciba como parte activa del complejo sistema de interacciones que es la Bi¨®sfera.
