It is an infrequent phenomenon but may cause caries, periodontal, cosmetic and malocclusion abnormalities. Oral Submucous Fibrosis is a chronic inflammatory disorder and a precancerous condition affecting oral mucosa causing inability to open the mouth, burning sensation and leathery consistency.
