%0 Journal Article %T Estudio bibliom¨¦trico de las variables cognoscitivas relacionadas con el dolor cr¨®nico %A Ruby Osorio Noriega %A Laura Pilar Boh¨®rquez %J Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos de Psicolog¨ªa %D 2012 %I Universidad del Bosque %X The objective of this study was to analyze the scientific production of cognitive variables associated to chronic pain since January of 2000 until August the 1st of 2011. It was taken into accountthe following variables associated to chronic pain: beliefs, expectations, coping and catastrophic thinking. 119 documents were analyzed. They were obtained from 3 databases. The main resultsindicate: (a) a continuous increase in terms of scientific production, (b) few authors are responsible for a large number of documents, and most of the authors only published one article in the period,(c) There was an increasing collaboration between authors in the period, (d) Most publications are concentrated in the U.S. and Europe, (e) academic research centers have the highest numberof publications, (f) the role of cognitive variables is still unclear, and (g) it can¡¯t be determined the weight of each of the variables associated to chronic pain.
