%X Data privacy and integrity will be the crucial and significantfactors in recent times for trade which will be transacted overthe Internet through e-commerce and m-commerce channels. To dealwith these anxieties, various security etiquette related tosymmetric and asymmetric key types have been framed. DigitalEnvelope is one of the practices to attain Privacy,Authentication, Integrity maintenance, and Non-Repudiation ine-commerce channels. In this paper, we suggest a softwareimplementation of a digital envelope for a secure e-commercechannel that combines the hashing algorithm of MD5, the symmetrickey algorithm of AES and the asymmetric key algorithm of HyperElliptic Curve Cryptography (HECC). The result illustrates thatHECC is the best alternative asymmetric key technique rather thanECC and RSA in the digital envelope hybrid cryptosystem.
