An implicit object in these reflections is to articulate two areas of knowledge: Linguistics and Literary Studies, showing how profitable a dialogue between them can be in order to have a more meaningful learning and teaching of a foreign language, especially English, which was emphasized in this article. %K Applied Linguistics.
