%X H¨¢ uma grande discrepancia entre o papel interativo do indiv¨ªduo desempenhado fora das salas de aula em meio aos ambientes virtuais e entre o posicionamento usualmente passivo ao qual o estudante ¨¦ condicionado. Este trabalho atentar-se-¨¢ aos benef¨ªcios que as novas m¨ªdias, em especial a hiperm¨ªdia, podem trazer ¨¤s institui  es de ensino ao criar um v¨ªnculo entre o meio acad¨ºmico e o ambiente cotidiano multim¨ªdia em que o aluno est¨¢ inserido. A Educomunica  o bem como a hiperm¨ªdia questionam o sistema metodol¨®gico que privilegiou os caminhos l¨®gicos e cient¨ªficos e permaneceu alheio ¨¤s transforma  es dos novos meios comunicacionais. There is a big difference between the interactive role of the individual played outside the classroom in the midst of virtual environments and between the usually passive position to which the student is conditioned. This work will attempt to the benefits that new media, particularly hypermedia, can bring to educational institutions to create a link between academia and the media daily environment in which the student is inserted. The Educommunication as well the hypermedia question the methodological system that that focused on methodological and scientific logic paths and remained oblivious to the transformation of the new media communication.
