%X Os estudos sobre audiovisual no Brasil privilegiaram e refor aram os lugares r赤gidos de distin  es entre cinema e televis o. A presente investiga  o faz uma revis o deste processo de afastamento dos meios, considerando as disputas, os posicionamentos dos agentes e as negocia  es que atravessaram a hist車ria do audiovisual nacional. Apesar de distintivamente separados, houve importantes momentos de contatos entre cinema e televis o no pa赤s, que nos anos 2000 v o ser cada vez mais estimulados pela ind迆stria audiovisual diante da tend那ncia mundial da converg那ncia cultural. O audiovisual nacional contemporaneo ir芍 transitar entre continuidades hist車ricas e tend那ncias internacionais, apontando um processo de reorganiza  o do campo no qual as fronteiras e lugares de distin  es historicamente demarcados se movem. Studies of audiovisual in Brazil have favored and bolstered the solid place of distinctions between cinema and television. This research makes a review of this process of straying away from medias, considering the dispute, the positions of those involved and negotiations that went through the history of the national audiovisual. Although distinctly separate, there have been major points of contact between film and television in the country, which in 2000 will be stimulated for audiovisual industry towards global trend of cultural convergence. The national audiovisual will transit between a contemporary historical continuities and international trends, indicating a process of reorganization of the field in which the boundaries and historically places move.
