%X This article addresses the conflict between the Colombian political constitution and the public law 30- 1992 on the one hand, the Colombian constitution garantees full rights to the educational institutions for self government, self regulation by taking in to account it own capabilities, principles and valves. On the other hand the public law 30-1 992 which mandate the accreditation for the institutions revalue the former constitution principle. La constituci車n pol赤tica de Colombia garantiza la autonom赤a universitaria, y otorga plenas facultades a las instituciones de educaci車n superior para autogobernase, autoregularse;  siendo 谷sto un derecho para ejercer con responsabilidad en virtud de sus propias capacidades y de sus propios principios y valores, sin embargo el proceso de acreditaci車n formulado por la Ley 30 de 1992 se presenta confuso y contradictorio al relacionado con el mandato constitucional.
