%0 Journal Article %T For a science free of the politics to abolish the politics %A Mois¨¦s Alves de Oliveira %J Semina : Ci¨ºncias Exatas e Tecnol¨®gicas %D 2007 %I State University of Londrina %X The purpose of this text is to present historiographically some ideas about the crossroads where the scientific thought (reason) and the idea of citizenship (politics) seem to acquire their distinctions. The narrative will be carried out by means of the search for the articulation of three distinct periods of time: A) the present: in which the anchor is the controversy about renewable fuel. B) The institution of rationality and the absolute cartesian certainty and C) Plato¡¯s forged agreements to justify the idea of citizenship. At the end, a discussion about the scientific thought is carried out. The theoretical background is connected to the relativistic considerations by Bruno Latour, in particular the concept of ¡°matters of interest¡±. O objetivo deste texto ¨¦ (ex)por historiograficamente algumas id¨¦ias acerca da encruzilhada na qual o pensamento cient¨ªfico (raz o) e a id¨¦ia de cidadania (pol¨ªtica) parecem ganhar suas distin es. A narrativa se dar¨¢ pela busca da articula o de tr¨ºs tempos distintos. A) A atualidade: na qual a ancora ¨¦ a controv¨¦rsia acerca de combust¨ªveis renov¨¢veis. B) A institui o da racionalidade e da certeza absoluta carteziana e C) Os acordos forjados por Plat o para justificar a id¨¦ia de cidadania. No final do texto, discute-se a pr¨®pria concep o de pensamento cient¨ªfico.
