Despite the fact that rigid roads with asphalt concrete pavement widespread, their design and calculation provide for approximate data with some number of hidden factors. Thepresent paper proposes to use finite element method to model stress-strain state of rigid roads withasphalt concrete pavement.Results. The use of the finite element method enables one to construct the precise model ofstress-strain state of road pavement. The calculations performed on the basis of the model obtainedmake it possible to take into account all the variety of factors influencing the structurewhich are traffic flow, temperature deformations, dynamical action of microshape irregularities, road material properties, etc.Conclusions. Results of the study have been confirmed by complex experimental research performedat highway M9 ¡°Baltiya¡±. The method proposed enables one to determine and calculate parametersof configuration, to provide for sufficient structural strength and high road service quality. %K strength %K asphalt concrete %K cement concrete %K traffic flow %K temperature deformations %K finite element method %K stress-strain state %U http://vestnikvgasu.wmsite.ru/ftpgetfile.php?id=282
